To ensure a perfect fit for your custom shade sails, it’s essential to take accurate measurements between specific structural points of your screen enclosure. The yellow dots shown in the image indicate the exact attachment points we use when designing your shade sails. These points are located where the aluminum frame members intersect at the top of the enclosure.

Step-by-Step Measuring Instructions:

1. Use a Sturdy Tape Measure
For best results, use a metal tape measure. Make sure it’s taut when stretched across each span.

2. Measure Between Yellow Dot Points
Take your measurements from the center of one structural joint to the center of the opposite joint, exactly as marked by the yellow dots in the photo. Be consistent with this placement to ensure square alignment.

3. Record the Following Key Spans
Measure and write down each of the following:

Horizontal distance across the width of the enclosure (side-to-side)

Horizontal distance along the depth (front-to-back)

Any additional side panel spans if you plan to attach sails on the vertical walls

4. Double-Check for Accuracy
Confirm each measurement at least twice. A ½ inch discrepancy can cause improper tension or sagging in the sail.

5. Important Note
All measurements must be taken from the same structural surfaces—either all from the inside edges or all from the outside faces of the frame—to maintain consistency and ensure the sail is square and properly tensioned.
